Reports reaching GhNewz indicates that players of Ghana Premier League giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko have ostracised training in Sudan.
They declined to show up at the club’s current preparation leading to their clash with Al Hilal in the 2020/21 CAF Champions League introductory round.
This is as a result of unpaid bonuses and per diem by the administration of Kotoko.
It is believed that a meeting between the playing body and the management was unsuccessful which resulted in this revolution.
Ghana Football Association Executive Council member Nana Oduro Sarfo, however, intervened to calm down nerves at the team’s hotel in Sudan.
Kotoko is to overturn their 1-0 home loss to Al Hilal in Sudan to advance to the CAF Champions League group stages.
